Amarani Slusher

Amarani Avendaño Carrasco Slusher is the office manager of Slusher Law Firm, PSC. Prior to joining the Slusher Law Firm, Amarani worked at an immigration law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, Amarani gained extensive experience working on a large variety of immigration law cases, including asylum, withholding of removal, Convention Against Torture, unaccompanied minor, cancellation of removal, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), adjustment of status, advance parole, work permits, U-Visa, citizenship, family sponsorship, military parole-in-place, and prosecutorial discretion matters. Amarani’s breadth of experience in an array of immigration cases has provided her with a broad and thorough knowledge of immigration law.

Amarani was born and grew up in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico. Amarani graduated from law school in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico. She then continued her education where she obtained her master’s degree in law and focused on Mexico’s newly reformed criminal justice system. Amarani immigrated to the United States in 2019. She is now passionate about helping immigrants with their legal needs. Amarani is fluent in Spanish and English.
